ASCPA Member Gets “Stung” in Colorado
ASCPA member Kevin Yeanoplos recently flew with his two teenage sons to Colorado for several days of cleaning and painting his late father’s house. “Around our house, we try to stress that the special feeling that you get when you do service is its own reward,” said Yeanoplos. “But, I wanted to give them something a little special since my oldest son is leaving home for two years in a few months.” Yeanoplos pulled a few strings relating to a charity with which the Police are involved, Unitus, and took his sons for a drive in the Colorado Rockies. To the boys’ great surprise, the drive in the mountains included rehearsing with the Police before their show at Red Rocks, Colorado.

Sandy Abalos, CPA, managing partner of Abalos & Associates, PLLC, has been named to the board of directors of the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW). The IEEW is a nonprofit organization that encourages women to grow their businesses, pursue entrepreneurial ventures and become active public policy advocates.
