Substitution/Transfer/Cancellation Policy
YOU MAY SUBSTITUTE at any time. Please notify the Society office in writing as soon as possible. A non-member substitute will be charged the non-member fee(s), when substituting for a member.
TRANSFERS must be submitted in writing prior to the date of the program that you are registered for. Transfers made after MAY 31 will pay the FULL registration fee. Any additional fees incurred while processing a transfer will be the balance due for the new course (without regard to discounts). A refund of the difference will be made if the new course costs less than the one registered for previously.
CANCELLATIONS must be submitted in writing and will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. Registered participants who cancel less than two weeks prior to the program or do not attend are liable for the entire fee.
ASCPA COURSE CANCELLATION – ASCPA holds the right to cancel a program up to two weeks prior to the date of the program. When the Society cancels a program you will receive a full refund. In the event the program is canceled, ASCPA is not responsible for penalties incurred by registrants who must cancel travel arrangements. Note: EARLY REGISTRATION HELPS AVOID COURSE CANCELLATIONS.
Seminar Times
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. for full day seminars.
Full day seminars begin promptly at 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. All full day seminars include lunch.
Half day seminars run from 8 – 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 – 4 p.m.
Check the course description or your confirmation for seminar times.
Fees
Only ASCPA members and members of their staff who are NOT CPAs pay the member fees. All other registrants pay the non-member fees. Payment is due upon registration. Please check the CPE Calendar for detailed fee information.
Discounts!
The Arizona Society of CPAs offers a CPE discount plan for early registrations to ASCPA members and members of their staff who are NOT CPAs. In order to receive the discount the registration form and fee MUST BE RECEIVED IN THE ASCPA OFFICE BY MAY 31 OR POSTMARKED BY MAY 31 (METERED DATE UNACCEPTABLE). The 15% discount applies only to selected programs (Refer to the CPE Calendar for correct fees).
AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) Member Discount
All AICPA members are eligible for a $30 discount per eight-hour day on all AICPA produced seminars. If you are an AICPA member and register for an AICPA produced seminar (noted in each seminar description), take an additional $30 off per eight-hour day for each AICPA seminar ONLY.
Confirmation
A confirmation form is emailed or mailed to you after we process your registration. It indicates the course name, date, times and location. It also serves as a convenient CPE record. Non-receipt of confirmation does not necessarily mean you are or are not registered for the program. If you have not received confirmation of registration within a few days of sending your registration form, please contact the Society CPE department to confirm your registration. Please note that confirmation will be sent in the preference you select on your registration form. If no preference is selected, your confirmation form will be emailed.
Course Materials
Materials for all courses will be distributed at the course site.
Certificates of Attendance
A Certificate of Attendance will be provided for each seminar or conference attended. Your certificate will be emailed within one week of the program date. Certificates should be accumulated and retained for personal record keeping.
