Continuing Professional Education (CPE) - As a member, you receive sizeable discounts on your CPE seminars and conferences conducted by top-rated and highly sought after instructors. The CPE Department keeps track of all ASCPA courses taken by an individual and prepares a CPE Course History statement that is sent to you prior to your certificate renewal. Keeping Our Members Informed - The ASCPA offers various communication tools to inform our members. Our Web site provides up-to-date information on laws, regulations, CPE offerings, services and benefits. The AZ CPA, the Society's magazine, focuses on current issues affecting the profession. In addition, our electronic newsletter, Enews, provides our members with timely information.
Legislative Advocacy - Representing the interests of CPAs, the ASCPA serves as your liaison with various governmental agencies on the local, state and federal level. Our contract lobbyist and staff constantly monitor state and federal legislation to determine their impact on the accounting profession and influence the outcome.
Leadership and Networking Opportunities - The ASCPA is the largest professional organization operating specifically for CPAs in Arizona.
