Bill Felix, CPA, was recognized as an influential accounting professor for Diane Rubin, chair of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy, during her inaugural speech at the NASBA Annual Meeting in November.
Kevin R. Yeanoplos, CPA, managing member of Yeanoplos Drysdale Group of Tucson, has been appointed chair of the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) Credentials Committee of the America Institute of Certified Public Accountants. For the next three years, he will direct a 10-member committee to create better public awareness and grow membership of the ABV credential, and review candidates desiring to take the ABV exam, which he co-authored.
Congratulations to Larry Field, CPA, and Rufus Glasper, CPA, who have both been selected by the ASCPA Awards Committee to become Life Members of the Society. They will be honored at the Annual Meeting on May 17, 2006.
Pat Elder, CPA, executive director of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, was recently featured in the October issue of Arizona Woman magazine.
Roman Kepczyk, CPA, CITP, has been appointed to the AICPA’s PCPS Executive Committee.
