In the News... With tax season in full swing, we have been able to fulfill some great media opportunities. John Chichester Jr. recently authored an article titled, “Retirement for Entrepreneurs.”  The article appeared in the March/April issue of BizAZ Magazine and covers tax-savvy retirement plan options for the self-employed.   Cindie Hubiak, President and CEO of the ASCPA, was recently interviewed by Roselyn O’Connell for the Arizona Almanac’s webcast. The interview was on the business climate in Arizona as it relates to tax laws and on financial literacy programs for women.

ASCPA members Monica Stern, CPA, Tom Wheelwright, CPA, Bob Hockensmith, CPA, and Gerry Kramer, CPA, recently appeared on ABC 15’s morning Daybreak show to participate in a “Tax Tips” segment. They fielded several calls throughout the hour program from viewers who had last-minute tax questions. Elizabeth Eisenberg, CPA, was recently interviewed on the financial news radio station 1510 KFNN.

Donna C. Mitchell, CPA, tax manager of Roman & Company, CPAs, recently appeared on ABC 15’s weekly Smart Shopper program. Micheal C. Flowers, CPA, Jan Flanagan, CPA, Richard Bratt, CPA, and Lori Hoby, CPA, were featured guests on KUAT “Tax Tips” program in Tucson.
