As part of its agreement with SCF Arizona, the Society's workers compensation insurance group, the Arizona Society of CPAs has formed a Safety Committee. The Safety Committee consists of representatives from ASCPA member companies or organizations participating in the SCF Arizona insurance program. The committee's goals are to examine ways the ASCPA can communicate and promote a safe work environment to all of our members and their companies and organizations. A safety plan is appropriate for an office or organization with one or more employees. Be prepared in the event of an emergency by having a safety plan in place that everyone in your office understands and knows.
When designing a safety plan or training for your organization or office, it's important to have the right resources to help you with your safety needs. Knowing the right people to contact for specific training or for assistance is instrumental in promoting a safe work environment.
