State-of-the-Art Learning Center Benefits ASCPA Members
With top-of-the-line equipment and a fabulous central location, the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants Learning Center is becoming a popular meeting site." Since our first program in November, 1998, our speakers and seminar participants have raved about the Learning Center," says Jena Ford, Director of Professional Development for the ASCPA. "With the ASCPA offices adjacent to the facility, the staff is always nearby to handle last minute details that may arise. We can offer better customer service to our members and the faculty."
The Learning Center enables the Society to hold programs for 72 participants. "The Learning Center is comfortable for participants, conveniently located and technologically advanced, offering an atmosphere that is very conducive to learning," says Ford.
The Learning Center offers members the following equipment:
- Built-in Screen for overhead slide, computer or video presentations
- Wireless microphone
- Professional sound system
- LCD Data Projector which works with all computer presentations, VCRs and laptops
- Visual Presenter which works with the data projector to project whatever image is placed under the camera
- A-Frame Flipcharts
- Adjustable Lighting
- Fully adjustable high-back rocking chairs for participant comfort
The Learning Center features a separate and comfortable lunch room area. Soda and coffee service is included in the cost of the seminar and a continental breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack is included during 8 hour seminars. Another big plus the Center's adjacent and free parking.
