Arizona Ethics CPE Requirement
|
Under the new state requirements, all Arizona CPAs reporting January, 2005 and after will be required to meet an Arizona-specific four-hour ethics CPE requirement. During each two-year renewal period, the four hours of CPE will require a minimum of one hour of AICPA Professional Code of Conduct and one hour of Arizona Accountancy Board statutes and administrative rules. The requirements further state that ethics programs taught or developed by an employer or co-worker of a registrant, will not qualify towards meeting these new requirements. The following provides Arizona CPAs with a variety of options to satisfy their new CPE requirement. Programs are available in a live classroom setting, online and CD-ROM self study, and the ASCPA will also bring it to your firm or company to train your entire staff.
Live Classroom Seminars Register Online and search for available programs with the ASCPA Online Catalog & Registration. Type “Ethics” in the Keyword or Course Code field and press Search.
Self Study Seminars 4-Hour Online Ethics Seminar – meets the entire 4-hour requirement. 2-Hour Online Ethics Seminar – covers the one hour of AICPA Professional Code of Conduct and one hour of Arizona Accountancy Board Statutes and administrative rules.
