The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation - Phoenix Affiliate recently selected Dan Costello, CPA, as treasurer of their board. Costello is the CFO of Camp Fire USA.

 

R & A CPAs was selected as a Copper Cactus Awards winner as “Best Place to Work in Tucson.” The 2006 Wells Fargo Copper Cactus Award winners were selected from among 400 nominees. The awards were presented in October  at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa. The ceremony drew a record crowd of 700.

 

One of the country’s largest accounting firms has acquired the Mesa firm Christensen, Gale and Mclaren LLP. Minneapolis-based LarsonAllen took over the firm’s operation this November. The acquisition  increased the size of LarsenAllen in Phoenix to 40 employees.

Seattle-based Moss Adams LLP has acquired the Scottsdale practice of Epstein Weber & Conover, PLC. The firm plans to take over operations of the 40-member firm in January.

 

Norman Slone was promoted to senior vice president and CFO of Goodwill of Central Arizona, Phoenix.

 

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council board of directors named Rich Dozer as treasurer.
