Steve has over 30 years of experience in local and national public accounting firms in the Phoenix metro area. Rodis’ professional services include tax and consulting to privately held companies and their owners, ownership structure and entity selection, mergers and acquisitions, and sales and use tax. Mooney, Kelly C.
Kelly C. Mooney, J.D., L.L.M. (Taxation) is a shareholder in the Tax Department at Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., in Phoenix, Arizona. She practices in the area of federal tax law, with an emphasis on the taxation of individuals, corporations, partnerships, tax-exempt entities, and civil tax controversy matters. Ms. Mooney received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Arizona in 2002 and an L.L.M. in Taxation from the University of San Diego in 2005.
Ms. Mooney’s recent experience includes: (i) tax planning and analysis for businesses (including partnerships, C corporations, S corporations, and real estate joint ventures) and individuals; (ii) representation of individuals and businesses in civil controversy at audit and appeals before federal and state taxing authorities; and (iii) formation of non-profit entities, preparation of applications for exemption from federal income tax, and representation of tax-exempt entities before the Internal Revenue Service. Caroline Ware is the Local Taxpayer Advocate for the State of Arizona. Prior to moving to Phoenix, Caroline was the Local Taxpayer Advocate for the State of Alaska. She joined the Taxpayer Advocate Service from Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, where she was their Deputy Director and previously the Director of their Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. At CLSMF, Caroline advocated for low income taxpayers before all levels and divisions of the IRS. In 2014, she was presented with the Glenn Shuman Outstanding Advocate award.
Caroline received her Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., where she studied economics and entrepreneurial leadership. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University and her Masters of Law degree in taxation from the University of Florida. In her personal time, Caroline enjoys trying new things, exploring new places and spending time with her significant other and her ferocious dachshund.
