December Chapter Meeting

We live in a world full of constant distraction. Maybe it’s the game on TV, or your smart phone vibrated, or maybe you are watching cat videos on YouTube. No judgment, but the reality is you are probably distracted more often than not, and most of that is unproductive distraction that is costing you, your employer and your clients. The distraction pulls you away from what you were doing, but in reality, a piece of you stays behind. Call it residual attention. The truth is every time you lose focus, you lose. Society perpetuates these distractions in devious ways. By attending this presentation, the attendee will be introduced to a variety of today’s most common distractions, understand the science behind them, and learn simple but proven strategies to defeat the distractions and fortify your focus today.
