Industry or Public
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state, or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply.
Government
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state, or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply. These individuals must be employed by a governmental agency or organization.
Educators
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state, or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply. These individuals must be full-time accounting instructors or professors at a public accredited college or university.
Retired
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state, or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply. These individuals are completely retired from accounting practice.
Student
Any person who is an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a full-time accounting program at an accredited college or university may apply.
Candidate (passed CPA exam, not certified)
Any person who has passed the CPA examination but has not satisfied the other requirements to receive their certificate as a Certified Public Accountant shall be eligible to be a Candidate Member.
Unemployed
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply. These individuals are actively seeking employment in an accounting-related field.
Leave of Absence
Any person who is a CPA, licensed under the laws of any state, or persons who have passed the uniform examination for CPAs may apply. These individuals are currently not working (maternity, military leave, disability, etc.) and not seeking employment.
Affiliate (Non-CPA)
Any person who has not passed the exam and is not a licensed CPA may apply. Affiliate members work in corporate finance, management, economics, finance, technology and other related fields.
Membership is based on the ASCPA's fiscal year, which runs from May 1 to April 30. Dues are prorated based on the time of the year you join and your dues class. Payment must be submitted with this application. If you are a new member, there is a $25 application fee. If your membership lapsed, and you are reinstating your membership, there will be a $25 reinstatement fee.

Membership is open to CPAs licensed in Arizona or another state. Affiliate membership is available to those who are not yet certified or who do not plan to become CPAs.
