Be a Part of the Solution

Based on focus groups with college students, the ASCPA has identified areas where we can be a resource. Now, you can get involved and support the CPAs of tomorrow. Click here to see past events.

  • Network with accounting students at a fun community service event.
  • Get out to a college campus at a Road to the CPA event, where students learn about the profession, the exam and the available resources. You'll speak on a panel to answer student questions.
  • Host a Job Shadow Day and offer students an up-close look into a day in the life of CPAs.

Get Involved in Advocacy

The Tax Legislation Review Comittee reviews and analyzes all tax legislation introduced each legislative session to provide nonpartisan feedback to policymakers on the mechanics, feasibility and simplicity of proposed tax legislation. Members of the group advise the ASCPA’s advocacy team on tax legislation and may meet with legislators to assist them in understanding the effects of proposed legislation on CPAs, businesses and individuals. Email our advocacy team to learn more.

Get Involved With the Magazine

The AZ CPA editorial committee is a small group of ASCPA members who represent their niche of the profession in content creation and revision for the ASCPA magazine and website.

Applications open in November. Committee members serve one-year terms, beginning February each year. Learn more.
