CPE FAQs

Yes, both count as live credit.

A webcast includes streaming video of the instructor as well as streaming audio. Webcasts include polling questions to monitor attendance. All ASCPA webcasts are considered "live" presentations. Please visit the CPE Webcast and Webinars section of our site.

Webcast/Webinar instructions are emailed out by the society two business days in advance of the class

An email will be sent within two business days after your purchase. If you do not receive your email with instructions, please check your junk email folder, and then contact the CPE department.

Cancellations will be assessed a $25 cancellation fee when canceled less than two weeks prior to the seminar. Submit via phone at (602) 252-4144, by email to ascpacpe@ascpa.com or on the form below. When a cancellation is submitted, event fees will be refunded in the original payment method or place on account by request. A full refund is offered if the cancellation is submitted at least two weeks prior to the course. Webcast and webinar materials will be provided as a download two days prior to the session. No refund is issued once webcast materials are distributed to participants.

CPE Change Request

If you are registered for a CPE course and you wish to cancel your registration, transfer to a different CPE event, or allow another person to attend as your substitute, please use this form to let us know.

Please include the name and date/time of the event(s) you wish to cancel/transfer/substitute. If you wish to transfer to a different course, please provide the name and date/time of the event(s) you'd like to attend. If you wish to allow another person to attend in your place, please provide us with their name, address, phone number and email address.

Log in as a member; choose the course. On the right side of the screen, select register other members from my company, once you have selected the members, click register now.

Certificates are mailed within 1 week of the event.

Login as a member and click on MY ASCPA tab. Choose My CPE Tracker to view your completed courses. To print or view your certificate, click on green icon.

Ethics Exam FAQs

The exam will be mailed within 48 hours from purchase.

The exam must be taken within one year from the date of purchase.

You may take the ethics exam at any point. The exam must be taken within one year from the date of purchase. Please remember passing scores are only valid for two years in the state of Arizona.

The AICPA sends the scores right away.

There are three online attempts and then one mail-in if necessary. You may make consecutive tries.

Membership FAQs

No. We have affiliate and student memberships for non-CPAs. Learn more about affiliate and student memberships here: Membership Information

All memberships expire April 30. Our membership year runs from May 1 to April 30.

You can sign up for automatic renewals by visiting the Renew Your Membership page and check the box "Charge my dues to my credit card annually".

You can go to "forgot password" to receive a link by email to reset your password.
