Overview
At first glance, it looks like women are thriving in finance, they make up 52% of the industry. But as the corporate ladder rises, their presence fades. Only 6% of the top U.S financial institutions have women in senior positions. 6%! Why is that? Is it the elusive work-life balance? A lack of mentorship? Systemic bias? We're continuing the conversation and more importantly, a community.
The Women’s Collective is a women-led community designed to connect, inspire, and equip women in finance to lead with confidence and purpose. This isn’t just another networking group, it’s a movement.

Some of the biggest moments in your career arrive with no playbook. This opening conversation explores what it really takes to lead, decide and hold your ground when the path isn't clear, drawing on candid stories and an open exchange with the room. You'll leave with language for the uncertainty you've been navigating, and the foundation for what comes next.

- The Exit Conversation No One Is Having: A Briefing for Advisors of Women in Business
Most advisors are well-equipped to handle the financial dimensions of a client’s business transition. The psychological, emotional, and cultural dimensions are another story.
Women in business — whether founders, executives, or business owners — face a set of barriers at the exit and transition stage that have nothing to do with valuation, deal structure, or succession planning. They are identity-based. They are cultural. And they show up in the advisory relationship long before a transaction is ever on the table.
This briefing gives CPAs and financial advisors a framework for understanding what their female clients are navigating beyond the numbers — and what it means for how you ask questions, sequence advice, and show up at the most consequential financial moment of their lives.
Drawing on market research, founder data, and the lived experience of a multi-seven figure exit, this session addresses why women are significantly underrepresented in business exits and leadership transitions, what the primary barriers actually are, how those barriers manifest as specific client behaviors advisors currently misread, and what it looks like to serve this client in a way that earns the relationship for every chapter that follows.
This is not a session about women’s empowerment. It is a session about advisor intelligence — and the competitive advantage that comes from understanding the whole client, not just the balance sheet.

- The Unbuilt Session 2: From Conversation to Construction
Ideas only matter when you do something with them. In this hands-on working session, we take everything from the morning and put it to work, building a practical, personal approach you can apply right away. Expect to roll up your sleeves, work alongside the women at your table and walk out with something you built, not just something you heard.
