What is Connect-ED?
Connect-ED is a year-round career awareness initiative that supports the ASCPA’s mission to strengthen the connection to the CPA profession. The program introduces Arizona high school and college students to the many professional pathways available in accounting by connecting them with professionals in the field, with a strong focus on CPAs to inspire the next generation.

Request a Speaker
Looking to give your students a window into the exciting and successful world of accounting? Our volunteers share what makes their careers fulfilling, highlight the wide range of opportunities within the profession, and debunk common misconceptions. They also inspire students to explore a future career in accounting. With our new Connect-ED portal, educators can easily connect with accountants and CPAs to bring real-world insights directly into the classroom.

- Create an account: Click here to create your educator account and profile on the Connect-ED portal. Already have an account?
Sign in here to get started.
- Post your speaking opportunity: After setting up your account and profile, complete the “Request a Speaker” form within the portal. Once your request is approved, volunteers can view it and reach out directly if they're interested.
- Select a speaker: Browse volunteer profiles by clicking “Meet the Speakers.” To view full profiles, simply click on a speaker’s name. Once you find someone who fits your needs, click “Send my speaker request to this speaker” or “Email me” to connect directly.

Our easy-to-use portal makes it simple to connect with classrooms, support educators and make a lasting impact.

Getting started is simple—just follow three easy steps to become a classroom speaker.
- Create an account: Click here to set up your speaker account and profile on the Connect-ED portal. Already have an account? Simply sign in here to access your dashboard and connect with educators.
- Find a speaking opportunity: Once your account is approved, you can browse available speaking opportunities in the portal. See one that interests you? Click on the listing to review the details, then select “Volunteer Now” to express your interest and get connected.
- Prepare for your visit: Make the most of your visit with our speaker resources. The ASCPA provides helpful resources to support your classroom visit, including presentation materials and guidance to ensure you're ready to share your story and connect with students.
