AZ CPA Editorial Committee
AZ CPA has been the Arizona Society of CPAs' flagship publication throughout most of its history. It has always been a platform for reporting relevant industry news, sharing opinions on industry changes and highlighting the most unique opportunities and challenges that CPAs face in our state.
Now, we invite you to become a part of the magazine's history by volunteering on the relaunched AZ CPA Editorial Committee. Help make your voice, and the voice of your area of practice, heard with the chance to see your name in print for the six magazines published annually.
Applications open in November each year.
For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, we are seeking five ASCPA members with diverse backgrounds across the industry. Editorial Committee members are asked to serve in one-year increments, and we anticipate the total time of service to be five to six hours each year. Prior writing experience is appreciated but not required.
Committee Expectations
Attend 1-hour virtual kick-off meeting to recommend ideas and review upcoming magazine themes.
Review one to three technical articles from your practice area for accuracy.
Recommend guest contributors for articles in areas of your practice.
Share news and industry changes relevant to your practice area with the AZ CPA editor.
