REQUIREMENTS: BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Six (6) years of prior work experience in grants accounting or grants management with experience in budgeting, forecasting, accounting, auditing, compliance, general ledger, account receivables, and financial reporting. Knowledge of federal and state uniform grant guidance, regulations, and compliance requirements and knowledge of GAAP, preferably in the non-profit community. Advance level experience with Abila MIP accounting software.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Preparation of monthly/quarterly grant invoices and financial reports.
- Provide input and assist with the budgeting processes.
- Prepare and submit grant applications, budgets, renewals, and monthly, quarterly, and/or annual financial, statistical, or programmatic reports.
- Track and monitor all grant revenues and expenses.
- Enter accounts receivables and monitor cash receipts and aged receivables.
- Ensure compliance with all funder requirements.
- Serve as the liaison between funders and DNA’s Executive Team and staff.
