What you will do:

  • Lead audit and assurance engagements from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, and report preparation
  • Develop audit plans and strategies, assess risks and controls, and identify audit issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Supervise, coach, and train audit staff members and review their work
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and act as the primary point of contact for all audit and assurance-related matters
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date on industry developments and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve audit methodologies and approaches

Skills, Experience, and Success Factors:

  • CPA accreditation or active pursuit of CPA accreditation
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in public accounting with audit and assurance experience; experience in the construction industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
