Audit Manager/ Audit Sr. Manager

Are you a motivated and detail-oriented Audit Manager with expertise in Tribal Government, Single Audit, and State and Local Government or Casino and gaming audits? Do you value the flexibility of working remotely while delivering top-notch audit services? If so, we want you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities: As an Audit Manager or Sr. Audit Manager specializing in Tribal Government and State/Local Government audits or casino and gaming audits, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Audit Planning and Execution: Lead audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Ensure compliance with GASB standards and relevant regulations.
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess audit risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay current with evolving GASB standards and regulations. Apply your knowledge to solve complex audit issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of audit quality and ensure that audit procedures are followed rigorously.
  • Remote Work: Work from the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice while collaborating effectively with our remote team.

Qualifications:

  • To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
  • Expertise in auditing, with a focus on Tribal Government and State/Local Government audits or casino and gaming audits.
  • Strong understanding of GASB standards and their application.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
