Key Responsibilities: As an Audit Manager or Sr. Audit Manager specializing in Tribal Government and State/Local Government audits or casino and gaming audits, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Audit Planning and Execution: Lead audit engagements from start to finish, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Ensure compliance with GASB standards and relevant regulations.
- Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients. Act as a trusted advisor, providing valuable insights and recommendations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor audit teams, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and assess audit risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Technical Expertise: Stay current with evolving GASB standards and regulations. Apply your knowledge to solve complex audit issues.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of audit quality and ensure that audit procedures are followed rigorously.
- Remote Work: Work from the comfort of your own home or a location of your choice while collaborating effectively with our remote team.
Qualifications:
- To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
- Expertise in auditing, with a focus on Tribal Government and State/Local Government audits or casino and gaming audits.
- Strong understanding of GASB standards and their application.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
