Webcast: 2025 Galasso Arizona & AICPA Regulatory Ethics Update

Overview

This course is designed to meet the four-hour ethics CPE requirements mandated by the state law in which the course is offered. We’ll start the session with a review of key areas of the Arizona Administrative Rules for CPE and Professional Conduct. Then we’ll review the key Arizona Revised Statutes relating to licensing and registration. We’ll then transition to the AICPA ethics standards as the Professional Ethics Executive Committee (PEEC) of the AICPA has been very busy issuing new and updating existing ethics rules. This course will provide an overview of ethics rules that are recently issued and soon to be effective. CPAs in both industry and public accounting need to know these to be compliant.

Prior experience with the Code of Professional Conduct

Objectives

Recall the impact of interpretations issued by PEEC. - Identify changes to the independence standards. - Recall state laws, regulations and rules regarding the practice of public accounting.

With an extensive background in accounting, auditing, and adult learning theory, Veno is a licensed CPA (in NC & SC) who oversees the development of Level Training programs for Galasso Learning Solutions. Our students share that she creates highly-engaging, 5.0 rated curricula with case studies, hands-on activities, and even games.

Prior to joining our team, Veno worked for two of the Top 10 CPA firms where she was entrusted with significant responsibilities including managing teams in India, leading revenue testing, and overseeing more than 20 acquisition audits from start to finish. With both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in accounting from Clemson University, as well as certificates in Adult Learning Theory, Instructional Design, Training & Facilitation, and E-Learning Instructional Design, Jaclyn is a trusted facilitator known for explaining complex concepts in compelling ways.

In her personal life, Veno loves to dive into DIY projects with her husband, from renovating rooms to building furniture. She also enjoys exploring downtown Greenville, SC, the beautiful Swamp Rabbit Trail, and time at home with her two rescue kittens.
